Probation and Parole

The Center has three decades of expertise in working with parole and probation agencies on issues including parole release decision making; evidence-based parole and probation supervision practices; managing parole and probation violations; and establishing and maintaining effective offender reentry processes. The Center has been instrumental in the training of new parole board members around the country, in developing evidence-based policies and practices in partnership with state and local probation and parole agencies, and in the development of a number of parole and probation violation decision making instruments in a variety of jurisdictions nationwide.
