Sex Offenders

Through its Center for Sex Offender Management (CSOM), the Center has been at the forefront of this movement. For the last 20 years, CSOM has served as a national clearinghouse and technical assistance center that supports state and local jurisdictions in the effective management of sex offenders. Since its inception, CSOM has provided useful, current, and accessible information widely to the field by developing and distributing policy and practice briefs on pressing issues; operated the CSOM web site; responded to information inquiries from the field and public; created and delivered training programs across the country; and designed and delivered technical assistance to support jurisdictions interested in improving their sex offender management strategies.
