Traci Fredrikson is a Program Manager at CEPP, where she is part of the team developing, launching, and maintaining the Community Supervision Resource Center. Ms. Fredrikson serves as a substantive expert on probation and parole supervision and delivers training and technical assistance to the field.

Ms. Fredrikson formerly worked for the South Dakota Department of Corrections, with a focus on parole board management and evidence-based release decision making. She also specialized in parole revocations, clemency, justice reinvestment, training, and data systems management. She was central to the development and implementation of the nation’s first online pardon application and helped grow the clemency process in her state, allowing for hundreds of citizens each year to be considered for record expungement. Ms. Fredrikson graduated magna cum laude with degrees in criminal justice and sociology from the University of Sioux Falls, holds a graduate certificate in state government leadership, and will soon earn a master’s degree in administration with a concentration in criminal justice studies from the University of South Dakota. She is also a corrections consultant who has helped several state parole boards implement a structured decision-making framework that works to increase decision-making reliability and transparency and reduce recidivism.
