The Center for Effective Public Policy seeks to hire a full-time Editorial Director to work on the Advancing Pretrial Policy and Research (APPR) initiative, a multi-year national project focused on pretrial justice. This is a new position that can be home-based or based in the Center’s office in Kensington, Maryland. The Editorial Director will be tasked with the following: (1) in collaboration with the APPR Communications Director and communications team, executing a content strategy and dissemination plan for APPR publications, newsletters, and other forms of communication; and (2) researching, writing, and editing original substantive content focusing on a variety of pretrial issues, primarily for an audience of pretrial professionals, and secondarily for the general public.
